The first time we meet, I’m mostly just going to listen to you. I’ll ask you to describe the way you imagine your finished project to look. You can bring brochures, books or magazines if you’d like. If you already have appliances or furniture that you want me to incorporate into the design, we’ll look at those too. I’ll ask questions, and make a few suggestions to help you focus on some areas you may not have thought about.

I’m a big believer in functionality. Quality and beauty are very important, and you’ve probably thought a lot about both. But the details – things like soft-closing doors and drawers or decorative columns and moldings – really make all the difference. Rapidly changing technology and design mean that colors and options are available today that were not even dreamed of when your kitchen was last updated.

Once I understand your vision, and we’ve talked about budget and logistics, it’s my job to make your dream come true. I’ll create full-color, computerized, 3-dimensional renderings so that you’ll know exactly what the end result will look like. Then we can easily make adjustments if needed.

Technology is amazing, but nothing can improve on hand-crafted workmanship. We use cutting edge tools (literally and figuratively!) but in the end, every piece is cut, machined, sanded and finished by hand.

A Word About Communication
Stuff happens, as they say. You and I will be communicating throughout the project, so if any of the specifications change or unforeseen challenges pop up, we’ll deal with them together. I’ll advise you and outline your options, then we’ll select the best solution to meet your goals.
