When I was 5 years old, I tried to build a chair. I’ve gotten better at it since then.

Woodworking has been a part of my life since I was a little boy and vowed that one day I’d make a chair I could actually sit on. I took every woodshop class my high school offered, and spent my lunch hours in front of a tablesaw. From building sets for music videos and television commercials in California, to kitchens in Colorado and whole houses in Wisconsin – I’ve been honing my craft and my own personal style for almost 20 years.

I love making something out of nothing. Plus I love making people happy. When you use your own hands to create a space for someone, and they spend part of every day in it, they never forget that you made it for them.

If I could do anything in the world, this would be it.
